About Us
As COVID-19 has been declared a global pandemic and countries have taken urgent measures to stem the spread of infection, I admit that I feel powerless. Perhaps feeling small is the best reminder for me to pray. Through prayers, I actively practice trusting that God has the whole world in His hands. He is in control. It's where I let my petitions and praises shape my worries into prayers, letting God know my concerns.
Through prayers, God has revealed to me that there are many people in the world who don't receive help. Hourly workers immediately lost their jobs, salaried employees are terminated from their workplaces, and business owners aren't able to sell their products or services. People strive to survive, but ultimately, they are trapped. People are starting to lose hope that the world has provided for them. In some countries, the number of people that have committed suicide because of the effects of the virus may outnumber those who have died from it.
My heart is heavily burdened for the poor and the lost. I have this sense of urgency to respond to global poverty and hunger with action.
In an attempt to reach out to those in need, God has given my partner and me the desire to start “GShield141” (God Shield One for One). Through GShield141, for every mask purchased, we will provide one to someone in need who cannot afford to purchase their own. We will send it in a survivor pack which includes a mask and a gospel message to those in need.
Desire to serve God by serving others,
